Hmmmm.. Sorting some stuff out, rediscovered this in my retirement collection. Now I know there are MANY issues with this both in terms of dimensional accuracy and soft /absent detail, but what the hell... I not planning to spend too much brain ache figuring out all that needs to be sorted. Going to go for the low hanging fruit on this.

The more I look at this the more I need to remind myself Low Hanging Fruit, but some stuff is just too much to ignore😣

At the very least I'll have sort out the integral dozer. Way too obvious not to include. I have the dimentsions for it so I can try a reasonable approximation.

I shouldn’t complain as I was involved in the conversation, in Folkestone, that lead to that group build and also after starting the Airfix Mustang starter set with the best intentions I realised that it was too nice a kit that I had to get out the proper tools to do it justice.

And Bossman, your not helping by encouraging him... It’s my second most memorable conversation from Folkestone. The first, Tony Thunder explaining how he shut his own head in a car door and then not understanding why no one else had done the same thing.

Finished my sulking so time for an update. Build progressed uneventfully. There WAS a rendition that was supposed to be the blade so after 2 failed attempts at trying to use it as a template I gave up and used it anyway. Black Chaos primer and then multiple blotchy coats of different green acrylics-NATO Bronze Green, Tank Green and Medium Olive. Then AK Enamels for a brown filter for NATO 3-toneand Green. Finally, a wash of Neutral Grey. All now well cured and hardened off and ready to progress to some weathering.
