Sweet Jesus man!!!
That is one awesome build and the history behind it. I remember the scenes oh so clearly. Even now Exocet is a scary word.
I remember my mum ask me the day after the funeral of the paras and H Jones. She said, do you still want to join the army?
I was too young to have seen it on the 9 o’clock news. So I was …well, yeah!
Anyway, great build and brought back some memories for me.

Fantastic build, Ian. With the history behind A-203, I wonder why it wasn't put into a museum?

Thanks, so much guys!
Tommy--Yes, this was a trip back in time for me as well. The Falklands was the first major war I was exposed to on the news and on television, growing up. You are correct about the Exocet; both the U.S. Navy and the Royal Navy have been on the receiving the end of that weapon and the human cost was horrific on all three occasions. Large warhead and a 10-20 second warning time is a horrendous combination.
Joe--I think they finally placed one in a museum in the early 2000's but A-203 had already been lost in the crash by that point. I believe they didn't place one in a museum sooner because the airframes were too valuable to their military. They had a very long service life in Argentina and if I am not mistaken, I believe they just purchased five upgraded SEM versions from France to try put them back into service.
