Thanks Fellas !!!
Update :: Good News and Bad News
Bronco Mig-15, Seat in ready with Quinta Seat belts, the Eduard Cockpit is quite nice, if anyone wants one (cockpit, seat belts and resin guns) let me know.
The bad news... HobbyBoss Mig-17... I tried dry fitting everything without the resin tub and it was ok. With the resin cockpit in... not so much. Huge gap with the wings... also some glue dirt here and there that need cleanup . I'll work with the putty and clean up in a few days. Not happy with the result so far. I won't recommend the Resin cockpit because of all the work around with the fuselage.

Such a pitty, but get the impression it happens more often, or at least I seem to read this more ofthen than i would like... once a resin cockpit is used the fitting isn't too good.. I am sure you will get this cleaned up nicely though!

I am sure you will get this cleaned up nicely though! You are right... this time, fixing the Resin tub meant that the Two sides were too narrow to have both sides fixed to the resin tub, with this the front of the aircraft had 2 panels, one over the radar housing and the other below ( covering the sides of the wheel well ) that didn't fit by maybe 0,5 mm . That messed with the whole front of the aircraft that wasn't ready to have the rear part of the fuselage either.... and since the 2 wing recesses were One in the front of the fuselage and the other at the rear part... Recipe for disaster.
So putty and cleaning up First. Next step, get it on all 3 wheels... and if it looks like a Mig-17 PF with paint, decals & stencils... I'm a happy guy.

Ouch! But you're more than capable to fix it and turn the disaster in a fantastic MIG!

John, that is a real shame fella. I have always been a little wary about these resin cockpit AM parts, now I know why. However, I am sure you sort the situation out, and the Mig will grand also

Great job on the bang-seat, John, but sorry about the parts fit. Yes, resin tubs can really cause issues with fit. I remember the Black Box cockpit days; power tools to get them to fit in the plane.

Update ::
Mig-15 and Mig-17, Wespe, BMP-1 and Magach 7
Mig-15, put the seat inside the Cockpit, tried fitting the cockpit inside the fuselage, closing the fuselage will be a problem, specially with the plastic base where the cockpit sits and where the cannon and guns fit.
Mig-17, Putty filling and sanding with the Wing.
Wespe, Side Wall is done. all plastic parts and some PE.
BMP-1, PE mesh screens . Also checked my references for the vision ports, Black on 4 different BMP's,
Some details added on Magach 7 top hull, still need to add 6 Resin parts from Legend.
Got the two next Pz38(t) from storage, these will be here soon...

Last update today,
Mig-17 got another Wing, it will require Putty and cleaning up too.
Dry fit of the cockpit block with one side of the fuselage for Bronco's Mig-15.
Academy's Magach 7 Conversion. Started the turret and added more details on the hull. I can't find one of the resin parts, some filling required on those 2 holes too, also I need to finish up the wiring for the headlights protection. To be honest, I don't recommend this old conversion, there are no numbers identifying the resin blocks, it's always a game of guessing, if you can get AFVClub /Academy Magach 7 ... get one.
I found this one in storage, don't remember buying it... I might build it or sell it... not sure yet.

Those shells ends look grand in there John . Looks like you're showing the MiG who's boss too Honestly I think this is the right way because the plastic part from Tamyia has a very small part of the shell that gives the 3D look that you don't get with the Brass from Aber.
I agree... these Mig's are not getting me down, let's how it goes since I still have the Mig-19 and Mig-21 from Eduard , but I believe if it wasn't for the Resin Tub, it would be a different story.
I guess Quinta Studios Cockpits are the way to go now

Did I read that correct? Are you going to add another 2 builds? You really want to drive us all mad don't you.... 😁
Love that Magach, and I know what you mean with old conversions without propper instructions, but they sure give you a great sence of sattisfactions once you managed to finish it 👍👍

Update ::
Tamyia Wespe , more PE and some plastic too. I will do this one like a 4 part kit,
1-Lower Hull with tracks and wheels :: Build, Primer & Paint 2- Main Gun :: Build, Primer & Paint 3- Side Panels :: Build, Primer & Paint
4- Rear Panel :: Build, Primer & Paint
Miniart T-44, Rear and Front Panel. Spare tracks with metal pins to secure them. This was the only was, the plastic part is impossible to work without breaking it.
But I was surprised, the fitting of these panels were perfect.
HobbyBoss, Just added Putty into the gaps of the other wing.
Academy Magach 7, Filled the 2 holes with Putty, and finished one of the metal head lights guard.

Nice work on the Wespe! Yes, can definitely tell the T-44 is Miniart as that hull looks pretty busy. Magach armor is looking fine as well.
