Great Stratos work John A 1/12th one `eh............reckon that might be a few bob
Thanks Boots !! I don't have the skills to tackle a 1/12th Car... I love those 1930's Fiat & Alfa Romeo from Italeri .. the guy at my LHS has 2 or 3 of those kits... I have to restrain myself Yeah ya do John.........just bigger parts and more paint , unleash that restraint........mines weakening for the Bugatti or Alpha , `tis a bit pricey tho

I have to work on my Stratos, then the Delta Integrale, still have to find a decent 037 and a Delta S4
But so far I'm really liking the Rally Car.
Not convinced to spend around 180 Eur on a kit

Big update, I wasn't uploading since the last issue with the site, but kept on building... here's the progress ::
Bradley M3A3, turret. Tristar Panzer 38(t) Ausf.B - Gearbox assembly

Panda's Cougar 4x4, well, at Step 1 you can clearly see this is going to be a nightmare
Part A23 .. is different. I checked the other sprues... didn't find anything similar.
B49 & B29 don't fit well into C20/C21. B56 is too small to fit into B39

This might be a A-Model type of kit...
Wespe, painting the rubber wheels

Lancia Stratos,

Tristar Panzer 38(t) E/F - Fenders
BMP-1P, working on more details on the front.

Dragon Panzer 38(t) Ausf.S

Dragon Panther II,

Special Hobby, Norad Mk-I
Again, BMP-1P, PE details.

Miniart T-44, Fenders & Wheels and back to Tristar Panzer38(t) Ausf. E/F

Dragon Panther II,

Wespe, MIG filter on the wheels, 1st coat of Panzer Grey

And that's it.

Lovely progress John . The Norad is looking good, and now a Panther II joins the club . I built that kit many moons ago when it was first released. I left all the typical Panther tools of the hull, and if I remember rightly the wheels need drilling to fit onto the axles . Be careful and don't drill all the way through .

I see we have the cursory clamps deployed for a Special Hobby project. Clamps and Special Hobby---like bread and butter. The Bradley turret looks excellent and great to see a Cougar MRAP on the bench. I always thought they were one of the best looking MRAPs in the stable. Great wheel-age, as well.

Small update today, -Tristar Panzer 38(t) Ausf.E/F : I removed one of the side tools, it didn't fit with the PE bracket. Otherwise, I spend most of time at the bench finishing most of the Hull details, front, rear and fenders. There are still 2 small steps with just PE on the front that I will deal later.

Tamyia Wespe, pin wash on the wheels and gave a last coat of Panzer Grey on the lower hull. Tracks will be next.

Panda's Cougar 4x4, well another small step, headaches and more problems.
So far I'm not liking it, nothing fits well, you have to apply a lot of strength to fit two simple parts, plastic reacts to Tamyia glue.. I believe this one won't survive much longer.

Trumpeter BMP-1P & Meng Bradley M3A3, more Rubber black applied.

That's it for today. More updates during the week. Thanks for following, watching, commenting and for all the support and kind works fellas !!

The 38 is shaping up very well! Thanks Ian !!
This Tristar kit is one of the most detailed kit I've seen ( without AM or an extensive PE sheet ), the level of detail is amazing from the tires to the hull and turret. But the only drawback is the tracks, maybe with some AM ones, but now it's too late. Trackless Tank is will be..

Despite the tracks, it's an amazing kit, superb detail in plastic without spending a huge amount of money on AM parts. It's hard to find Tristar kits, but since HobbyBoss bought them you can still find this kit ( maybe they got new tracks, I don't know ), I'm sure Tamyia and Italeri are good options but not with this level of detail. Maybe with Dragon, but much more expensive.
Anyway, I think this week I might finish up the last PE parts and get this one ready for Primer.
