After fighting this beastie for far too long, I can finally call it done. It looks like crap and has a tom of things wrong with it, but I got all the assembly, paint and weathering finally acceptable enough. Frankly, I'm sick and tired of dealing with this so on the shelf it goes as done. T-Model 1/72 scale M-1114 Armored Humvee: My apologies for the poor photography; I can't seem to get the lights just right to counter the sun coming through the window. I haven't any curtains on the window to close, or blinds to lower so I really have no way to eliminate that shine. I'm gonna work on shooting from different angles or something. Anyway, that's it so far. I do hope to finish a few more before month end, but I figured I might not so I went ahead and posted this,

Duke, sometimes I use a simple piece of paper to soften the sunlight. You should find a solution coz your models deserve a good representation of how they look.

Thank you Guy! Yeah, I'm still searching for a good solution, sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't. I'll keep trying.
Thank you Bert! Yeah, those Tamiya weathering powders are great for that kind of thing.

You got it done to a very acceptable finish. Great stuff.

Mark, you're right, it's below your standards, but it's still a good representation of a HUUMVEE. Nice work!

Cool HUMVEE, Duke, and glad you defeated the Plastic Gods during the assembly phase.

Thank you Joe! Yes, this is a great success in that I did finish it. It doesn't look like much but it is finished.
One guy on another Forums (incidentally also named Joe) said it looked battle weary. I replied that yes it was, very battle weary from the fight it put up against me! LOL!!
