Not as bad as I thought it would be, colour wise that is. The weathering will really look good over this

Thanks Paul and PorcoRosso. Bit of cam using life color earth and a sort of buff colour. Looks a bit more deadly. How did yours turn out PorcoRosso?

Not seen that style of cam before i have too say It’s from the instructions Boots. I used a very old brush and just slapped the dark colour and then the light colour on top. I figured all they did was just slap the paint on in the desert.

Looks very nice indeed!! Judging by the instructions you have to camouflage your tires too?

Yes bwilt. But I reckon the paint would just fall off the tyres. Done some weathering with a sponge. Olive drab and black to represent the original colours. Mission model paints - not a fan. Any paint on top just does not hold and takes ages to dry.

I have seen a clip/thread somewhere of a guy that sprays his tyres with the necessary dust effects/weathering etc and then when dry he gently squeezed the tyre to allow the paint to make natural cracks in the side wall.........he then sealed them with a matt coat........probably wouldn`t work for me as per usual

That would work if you had rubber tyres.
