Thanks very much Ian..... At the mo i`ve hit a nasty snag fit wise!! I researched the body fit after i had a problem with getting it to seat squarly with the lower half, the front part fits perfectly but the rear end stops about a mm from the lower body. Apparently this is a common fault as a load of builders have had exactly the same issue....at least i know it`s not me!! Nobody has mentioned anything about correcting it and all the finished models (some stunning) are showing this gap. The only restriction i can see is the inner bulkhead...but...how to lower it without causing major damage, ideally i need to take 1mm off the height but it is a major integral part of the rear end.I can`t saw it or even really file it and 1mm of placcy is a lot to remove on a delicate part, i am toying with using a low speed Dremmel and gently skim the top.........thats my best solution so far........either that or finish it half-heartedly and keep the gap!!

That’s a bummer, Boots. I’m sure a man of your calibre will sort it.

To be honest, I would leave the gap. That grinding sounds way to risky to me.

Well it weren`t a bad attempt..........the shape was a pig to do but cutting around the decal and making a mask from tape helped, getting everything reasonably even was the main thing.....there are a couple of areas i nedd to tidy up but hoopefully no big deal Tape off and the earlier applied decs have stayed safe....
.......and relax!!
The bit i really was dreading has passed off not to bad...........i was a bit concerned about paint bleed from the Red but i gave the masked off area a pass with the Blue to seal the tape edge..........once dry the red couldn`t get underneath
Ta chaps WTF this update escaped from my attention. Beautiful ! You're almost making me build a shiny racecar now.

Be glad you didn't do anything wrong Boots. So difficult and tricky to decide what to do or not to. It looks so bloody awesome after all the work you put in it.
