Imagine guys scribing their Gundam models freehand sometimes...can't imagine how they do it. Nice touch on the self made scribing bits. True modellers' skill ey I'm the lazy kind, I bought DSPIAE scribing bits Start looks promising I must say, I think it will be well worth the effort and will show off nicely when painted.

Looks like you've got the hang of the panel lines, Paul. How's the tape working out?

Cheers muchly Joe-meister . The tape is very good but, you need to use a fair bit of it. Once it starts changing from clear to frosted it's time to use a new bit, I have used about 40cm already

Joe, it might be because I didn't wash the parts after sanding . Lesson learned on that one . Ian, murky buckets ole chap . Some grooves might be a bit heavy, but this is a learning session . Tommy, thank you kindly mucker . Steve, those be mighty fine words kind Sir . Although I have done the easy bits first, the real fun come with the fuselage . Not much today, the lower wings have been scribed and the last parts glued to the fuselage. I have had to add some Mr.Surface 500 to the joints, not because of a bad fit, but i need to get everything back to the same height. More tomorrow fellas

Joe, that is what we do here . Wouts, cheers ole chap ,but I am still learning . Ian, appreciated muchly mucker . Started on the fuselage today . Now this is a different story compared to the simple winged bits . Part of the front, starboard and port sides, are done. The nose I screwed up and has been covered with Mr.Surfacer 500, I'll get back to that tomorrow. The rear has been mapped out with pencil markings, this is necessary otherwise you would go totally mad adding the tape freehand .

The pencil lines stick out well, Paul. The guns look very good in the nose section.

Thank you kindly Joe . The good thing about the pencil lines is, they disappear with a quick swipe of a sanding sponge
