Like I once posted in another topic, in my younger years I had a Honda Goldwing Interstate, I found a kit of it on Ebay, and SteveM helped me get it. Cant't thank him enough for that.. This kit is actually the exact bike I had, even in the same color I had, and it was the last of the 1100 cc Goldwing serie, they named it Interstate but it had parts of the 1100 Aspencade, the even more luxurous version (like radio set, overdrive, cruise control and intercom system). After this the Goldwing turned into a truck, 1200cc , ugly and later versions more cc and even more ugly.. Okay, so I have started this bike, I hope it will turn out a bit decent, sprues are in chrome, alluminium and black color.. means scraping off a lot of the color coating to get the glue to stick... and cleaning up molding seams etc... means I will have to do a lot of rework on the paint... Sofar I got most of the engine bujild up..

This sure brings back memories of cleaning the bike after having been for a spin.... had this bike for 5 years, seen all of Europe with it.. Using flat black, semi gloss black and rubber black, chrome silver, flat alluminium.. and that is just engine and wheels...

Watching with interest mate
Did you not fancy stripping the chrome and ally paint and starting from scratch

Most impressive! I don't usually follow motorcycle builds, but this is too interesting to skip, especially considering you're building your bike from the past.
Bring it man, everything so far looks smashing!

Thanks everyone, glad you all like it! Did you not fancy stripping the chrome and ally paint and starting from scratch Did for a second, until I saw all the thin parts like steeringbar, crashbars etc... to afraid to break those while trying to strip the chrome off...
