Nice paintwork on the leather. And that leather insert in the collar...what a detail. Never knew that and I think many of us don't know that it was there. Seems you're enjoying yourself mate.

Thanks wouter. I am only presuming. Officer uniforms were tailor made so I am thinking an enterprising tailor would insert a leather collar to maintain shape and reduce wear.

Thanks guys. Just highlighted the edges with the MiG ammo field grey highlight and painted the boots. Boots are nato black with some semi gloss black for the polished toe caps and heels.  Can’t beat a bit of “bull”. That means highly polished boots for the non military ones amongst us. |
