Bit short notice for me mate plus i gotta wedding tomorrow.......and to cap it off i`ve just had to pay vet fee`s.........£100.00 for a 10 min visit  ...........i`m in the wrong job!! |

The big day was the Saturday got the quieter day tomorrow. Got a few pics today Paul but I'll get more tomorrow.
We ordered a hundred tables and only 80 turned up so it was very crammed and you had to fight for a chair. The museum gave us a room to eat and drink in but we had no chairs so that was a waist of time, not allowed to eat or drink in the museum only the restaurant.
Done a little bit of shopping, trying not to buy any kits as I've got loads to do, had a couple of wins on the raffle too

Bumped into 3 strangers at the show today, Tim, CB and Dick Francis. First time I've seen Dick for a few years so good to catch up

wow, what a nice location to have a modelling event. Thanks for posting those photos Robbo! And CB and Dick...that's ages ago. Remember those lads from all the other places, but Milmod in particular. Are those chaps still modelling? ^^

Personally I think that's a waste of his talents. Pics on Facebook disappear far more rapidly than on a forum. Wait a day and try to go back to them and they've disappeared to the fourth, fifth or even seventh page, never to be seen again. At least on the Forums his posts stay and can easily be recalled. I'll never understand this obsession that so many modelers have with posting models on Facebook instead of Forums. I tried it once and got two or three responses at best before they disappeared. Maybe my work is not as great as Dick's scratch built masterpieces, but you'd still think that pics of a collection of 820 small scale armor models built by one person would get more than three or four replies. And one never even mentioned the collection! Oh well.
To me Facebook "likes" don't mean a thing; they are so often and frequently given for anything. Even the more "expressive" ones really have no value compared to the artful and helpful responses on a Forums.
My apologies for the rant. Now back to your regularly scheduled program......
