Cheers again everyone. This is definitely not a Tamiya kit but it can be made to fit with a bit of fit-file-fit modelling. The main fuselage and fin has been glued. The front fuse, tail cone and jet pipe are dry fitted. Stores are underway too.

Two quick pics of some progress. Being ill then a few days away from home means not a lot but it's something. The cropped pics show up all the rough edges that you can't see with your eyes. I must find a way of taking these that look more like the actual build. Seat and office  Exhaust

Back in my youth I did a lot of airplanes as well, but than 1/72 and there was no PE or anything like that.. these pictures of all those cockpit interiors really show the way modelling has progressed since than..

Back to the Thunder this weekend. Fuse together and some of the knocky off bits added. Nose and rear exhaust fairings are only push fitted for now. Missiles and tanks well under way too. Two coats of Halfords primer to expose defects before base coat next week.
