Paul have thought about using a couple Copper State Models figures? I know they're a little pricey, but the quality is awesome

I didn't know they did figures but I'll have a look. Currently Frankensteining a couple of different ICM figures from different sets. I'll have a better idea of what I'm doing a bit later tonight.

Results of the Frankensteining... Driver and passenger looking out of frame at "something". The original idea for the kneeling chappy wasn't working. might add a blockage across the road to provide a bit more context /reason for the halt...

Looking good to my eye, and the idea with the road block is good too

I figured it wouldn't take much to make an Irish boreen impassable, particularly to something like a model T. Remnants of a near by stone wall, courtesy of Woodland scenics Talus. It will need a wash or two and some additional colour, but happy with the look Also making some progress with the figures . National Army uniforms were s distinctive green which I've tried to capture here with tonal variations. As always AC & SW. P

The road block might be simple, but it's darned effective . The uniforms are looking good too

The figures, meaning the heads are killing me... on my 3rd attempt to get something more than a basecoat and wash for shadows... patience and perceverance.

Getting there .. today I will be breaking out my 3/0 ( and maybe even 5/0) brushes to try and get the face more like I'm happy.

He's looking grand already Thanks P, but it's just plain flesh with no shadows so I need to add just a few in the obvious places to be happy, then he can join the car.
