Welcome to the world of wings AG B) Spend ages on the office-offices/engine-engines/ wheel bays/ avionics bays then seal it all up never to be seen again Nice work so far BTW

Paul and Steve thank you. That's what modellers do, build beautiful things and then hide them. OK, the innards of the cowl were coloured. A tad of metal paint and...Insignia white, known as Tamiya's AS-20 from the spray can. I mixed my own Insignia white consisting of a brush tip of XF-73 D green JGDSF + X-1 Gloss white. The colour is not available in the small paint jars, strange!?

Oops here's a pic. No extra detailing such as fuel lines this time.

The wheel bays were given a minimum of styrene and then everything was airbrushed gloss white prior to the slapping together action of the wing halves.

This is looking very good indeed Guy, the wheel bays just need a bit of leaking oil and you’re there!
The doors may be a bit of a problem with paint access though..?
Quick bit of advice, I can’t remember if it’s the case on this kit but the instructions sometimes ask you to add the undercarriage at a very early stage. They just get in the way of paint and the doors get in the way of decals. Check to make sure but if you can leave them off until the very end.

Looks right good to me too . And that is sound advice from Steve also, I always leave the landing gear doors and landing off right up to that last minute . Another tip from me is this. You are going to have seem lines to clean up, the best thing I find for rougher ones, is to use a curved/rounded blade instead of a straight one for scraping .

Oopsy I glued in the wheel bay doors. They were airbrushed already and I checked for the brushpainting stage, it can be done so I'm not panicking yet. I did 't check the decal positions, first thing to do... Thank you Steve and Paul for the top tips!

Coming along nicely, Guy. When I built this kit, I painted both the top wing halves, bottom wing section, and doors all separately before gluing them together to avoid having to mask them. Then I just touched up the leading edges of the wings. I have couple of photos if you want to see what I mean.
