Looking very nice there. As a bit of an aside can you remember the tip that was given for protecting against paint bleed when doing stripes as I think that issue came up in one of your builds?

Yep, stage one spray base colour then mask. Spray masked area with base to seal edges. Stage two spray new colour (yellow). In the case of stripes as per this build, mask again and spray with the new colour (yellow) then when dry apply the final colour (black).
Worked very well for me, there are a couple of glitches but the main black on yellow has worked out nice and crisp I think.

Thanks Tim, I think I get that although maybe I’ll have to slightly modify it for the second stage of step one as the upper side will be a two tone camouflage. Possibly just use matt varnish instead to create the seal?

Jase yes indeed, matt varnish works just as good. The only draw back is, it's difficult to see where you have spayed the bleed stopper.

The Suez stripes add a great lot to it.

Paul, Armorguy and Ian, Thanks for looking in and the comments. The "Suez" stripes certainly give this a little more zing and hopefully, one day, I will get a few more to go with this collection. Looking at French and Israeli additions for the future. As per the title, the black gouache came out and panel work begins.
Hope you like, more soon. Tim

The gouache technic for panel lines, it scares me.

Started to apply the decals. Loads of them and another splash of colour to brighten things up. Tim
