Thanks very much for the kind words chaps .....and fab pics Paul Been a bit pre-occupied as of late so apologies for not replying to some of ya builds Have been doing a little bit on this..... My idea of using the real wafer thin glass for the windscreen went....`erm...out the window so to speak! ..........it cuts perfickly but unlike styrene it doesn`t leave a smooth edge....i knew it probably would but it was worth a try, also the kit ones are framed so after some masking i AB painted the screen rubber surrounds and fitted them...the two smaller ones come as a one piece where-by the top two are single. I`ve also started ageing the red red with some lighter coloured powders (i find Grey works well with Red for fading/highlighting etc) and also a mix of darker washes.......i then went round with a graphite pencil on some edges such as the radiator cap and various edges on the vehicle Fuel tank, stowage box etc(dunno how noticable it is in the pics)
The stowage box is WIP at the mo, not much to do on it to be honest.....apart from finding some junk to add in it
The roof will be the next bit......i`ve already painted it in it`s backdrop colour and now i need to completely alter it
And yes.......i did feck up on the inside of the windscreen frame.......it should be Green not Red.......my bad!!
Cheers all

Now if this isn't a masterpiece tell me what is?! I hope you add a little dust in the prophile of the tyres, that should look so cool.

Thank you kindly Guy As for the tyres......i havn`t got that far yet , i`m concentrating on getting the bulk work done and then i can blend it all together for the final weathering......i probably won`t go much more than this until the very end but even that won`t be much, i want a disused look rather than a derilict ...........but tyres are certainly on the menu

Paul,Tommy and Joe.........thank you once again `ma friends` Bit of a yay or nay moment really...... I was gonna go for a dark colour for the roof but changed my mind.........i like what i have personally, this was done by using a base coat of light green (to allow for darker washes) and then lots of sponge layers with a wash inbetween each pass, i wanted a dirty weathered white but i may still add some lighter white but i don`t think it really needs it......opinions! ...........i`m hoping it`s the right choice
Had to tweek the pic a bit coz my lighting bleached out the roof somewhat........just removed a bit of over exposure thats why the photo looks a bit darker otherwise the white was to bright in the pic, it`s only plonked on top for the mo as i need to access the interior stil.

I think that looks just right, Boots. The detail pops out very nicely on the roof panel.
