Back in business! I got some primer on the mounting post and that is ready to be painted. The Rivet Joint itself is almost ready for decals. I drew the panel lines on with a drafting pencil but kept them very subtle. There will be no weathering on this since these USAF and RAF Rivet Joints are in immaculate, glossy paint schemes. I also put the base together with the Black Sea map and it is all ready for the mounting post.

Thanks, Pete! So it occurred to me since the landing gear is not down and I still have all the dorsal and ventral antennae to install, I needed a jig to put the plane on so the ventral antennae don't get damaged or broken off in the final phase. Time to break out the Legos and relive my childhood. One RC-135 Rivet Joint stand coming up.....
