A nice selection of models there and it’s always good to see those from clubs and not just the competition entries.

DORA Railway Gun in 1/35 scale at 7ft 5in long and weighing in at around 8st (when complete with its glass cover).
The project has taken 6 months and the shock part is that it is painted entirely using standard domestic CROWN Emulsion

Didn't purchase at the show, which is unusual......... however did pick up covid :-(
Felt a bit under the weather yesterday morning, so went out to do some work in the greenhouse about 10 to do a couple little jobs, by 11.30hrs I was back inside and tucked up in bed (Typical my covid booster and flue jab are booked for Saturday morning :-(

Wow! Six months? I know a guy that took at least ten months to finish one, and another who is taking two years now.... then again, he is also scratch building several parts and adding additional details not included in the kit. The first guy built out of the box.
My 1/72 scale Dora took me a year and nine months.... it was the first kit to scare the crap outta me the whole time I was building it!

Well, it's been about 10 - 12 days since testing negative, and still feel like crap... late last week, though I'd get some fresh air, so walked into Bourne, about 1.5 miles each way, coming back, nearly stopped and phoned Mrs Z for a lift...... although I didn't and stumbled / shuffled back home, it was either that or crawl, coughing like I smoked 60 a day :-( well worn out. Haven't done much since, Still lacking modelling/sculpting mojo :-( Only pleased I had the jabs and booster, think without them Id be well ill.....
