Strange about the VMS Gloss..........it worked quite well for me but i did give it about 5 heavyish coats. Looking nice `n` shiny in the altenative gloss

That looks grand Tommy  . VMS Gloss is weird stuff, the warmer the temperature, is the better it sprays. Also spraying with a small nozzle ie0.3mm, will not work. The same as too high pressure, which could be what happened here.

Nice job, you made doing around them windows look easy, did you use a paint brush or one of them chrome pens?

Paint brush Robbo. Here is the little scene. The girl is one of the ladies from the Somewhere in Saigon set. Had a heck of a job to get the face to look feminine. Then I realized I had too much shadow under the chin. That did the trick.  Will add pictures tonight when I can get the lighting okay and the dust does not show so much.
