Cheers Tommy . I wonder what that could be for Boots ? It might be a tad too light, if it's for what I think it is ....it`s for the basecoat for the inside of the Scammell cab mucker.........nothing sinister , i wanna keep the inside wartime colour but the outside in civvy colour/s......the darker green will act as a nice starting point . The outer civvy colour scheme is a real headache for me so i don`t know how it`s gonna end up at the moment...!!

Beautiful job! What kind of masking is that and how well does it remove? How long can one keep it on a model? I used to use Hobbyco Liquid Mask which was so perfect for masking clear parts and I could leave it on for months and then peel it all off in one piece with no residue or gumminess. I can't seem to find a replacement for it, I'm hoping that mask you used would work just as well or better. I got lots of clear parts to mask.

Now that's very cool looking!
The VMS stuff seems to work very well. Might have to find a UK vendor when the Maskol runs out.

Thanks guys. dukemaddog it’s VMS a liquid mask. I think you can leave it on as long as you want. Tommy, Duke, VMS say it can be left on for 3 to 5 days. The Zero and Macchi I did with this stuff and only left it on for about 1hour. Just enough time for the top colour (acrylic) to set . The was however a bloke F.book, who said he had left it on for 6 months , nothing went wrong.

I think that is definitely possible Paul.
VMS don’t want to say so just in case, but I am sure it is.

Well, if the expert on Zebra stripes says it is good, who are we to disagree?
