LMFAO couldn't find one with rain . But who is stupid enough to take a picture of rainy beach ? Here's Folkestone beach at 0800 in the morning, in February when it was about 0° C. The true Brit summer

Aaaah Folkstone beach `eh!!............at least WE got sand on ours I`ve got a shed load of military buildings dating back to the late 1800`s that were used during WW1 and WW2, AA gun pits/forts etc.....i live at the very start of the Thames estuary so these were installed to shoot enemy aircraft as they followed the Thames into London, on a clear night the moon lights it up like a friggin` motorway straight into the heart of London......all the buildings are 5 or 10 min walk from my door. I might stick up a seperate thread if any one is interested.

LOL....your in luck, the only spare room is my mancave .........no bed tho!! ...........just a bench I`ll sort out a little thread at some point..........you`d be amazed at what i got on my doorstep..........including a sunken WW2 merchant ship still 3/4`s loaded with live ordnance.........it has to be checked regularly by divers, if it goes bang we`d certainly know about it

Well that is very kind of you, if you're prepared to sleep on the bench and I get your bed that'll be fine by me . At least you know where the bang stuff is, over here we have a huge problem with UXB's . There isn't week that goes by without something being found, last week there were three 1000lb bombs discovered in the ground where my old barracks was . To think that we were driving chieftain tanks over them, without owt happening makes me laugh .

Same here with UXB`s, when i worked on the ranges here my job was to work quite often with DEOD`s......i used to transport lorry loads of 1000 and 500 pounders plus defunct rockets, explosives etc out onto the sands to be disposed of........blew up part of a Polaris missile once.......feckin thing was huge A lot of returning bombers would jettison their payload into the Thames so`s they could make it back across the Channel home if they`d been hit, fisherman are always trawling them up in their nets
