You are making things difficult for when us mere mortals buy this and try to do it like that..

Resin and rubber, have gone up and up, although I use a British supplier, it originally comes from Italy, last year they had two price increases :-(

I should have guessed really now you come to mention it.....everything on the up as is most things!! , i work in the metal recycling business and our metal prices are so the opposite.........occasionally the good grades such as copper, nikel, brass, gold etc hold there own but our iron, cast Alu, S/steel have gone down dramatically..........i think iron dropped to about £100 a tonne, the amount of generator diesel and fork truck diesel plus electric and manhours it takes to produce 20 tonnes for a lorry load kinda seems crazy!! Our high grade shredded PCB goes to sweden and the lorry charges to take it there have gone thru the roof as well!

Think everything is the same now a days unfortenatly :-(
Biggest jump I saw, was a box of disposable gloves, prior to covid, used to be £8 a box, they jumped to £19.00 at Screwfix, and £29.00 at Toolstation. Found a place on line, but had to buy 20 boxes, but at leaset they worked out at around £5 a box (and they are better than the ones I used to pay £8 for :-)

Test cast this morning, my fault didn't mix enough plaster, so when I topped it up the lighter coloured plaster (the lighter mix) went straight to the bottom, but that's OK as Ill be keeping this one for myself to build as a display version. Haven't worked out the exact cost yet (as all the materials are sold by weight, need to wait till I have all the items cast in the materials - either resin or plaster to work out the costs) Currently awaiting the other building side mould curing. Toying with the idea, of doing as the 'corner shop' L shaped version, and maybe a façade like in the photo of the sample casting (but also with the window grid and the roller shutter door)
