Tamiya M18 Hellcat

Weathering has started in earnest with a mixture of wilder aqua line and wilder pigments. One side of tracks & wheels all done. I'll add some spatter etc later once its all finished. I wanted quite a chalky look which I think suits the model very nicely.

I like the light dust look already, the tracks too, they look so real.

Thanks guys, well the other side is done as is the rest of the model! In the end I didn't add any spatter as the dusty look was enough for me. Now I need to source a base before finishing the project off.

Whilst the Scimitar is drying after a wash it's about time I sorted out a base for the hellcat. So a small picture frame has been pressed into service and the basic groundwork is now in place. of course this also now needs to dry but you get the idea. it won't be anything special, just some dusty ground and grass but will set the model off well I think.
