Since i had no issues with the kits from my previous builds, i thought why not? Lets build a kit from MSD.... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 So here is a T 34 1942 mod. from No. 112 factory. Some factories had differences in the way they finished their T 34s. 112 was one of them . The kit is very well detailed ( i would even dare to say, on par to many expensive modern kits) and with lots of extra parts. Do you know what else is too much? Flash.... The directions have gaps, but nothing serious. After cleaning a lot of flash and drilling a lot of holes with no position indicators whatsoever most of the hull is assembled. Some guy thought that it would be a good idea to cut the front of the hull and place another part there to depict a 1942 model. So that was also done. I will probably go for a beute tank in german grey. I found a few profiles in such a scheme for the specific T 34 model. Hopefully more tomorrow.

Thanks guys. Well assembly is finished except for the tracks that is.... They are provided as individual links. Detail looks very good, we will see how well they will go together. The only actual problem i encountered with the kit is the casting of the engine cover side grilles. There was a lot of flash between them, and in places it couldn' t be removed. Now for the paint issue i am thinking about something like these. German grey with oversized crosses as was the usual practice for beute vehicles. Maybe even add a few jerry cans as in the last pic.

And we have colour. With a lot of shades. Maybe the shading looks a bit too much now but after washes, filters etc i think it will look ok. Thinking about spraying the crosses. Brand new crosses from decals on a very faded colour wont look right i think...

At the end my laziness won. 😁 So decals it is. At least i found a set that weren't too white.... Made something to hold some jerry cans from pics i found on the net. So this is the progress so far. I 'll see what i am going to do about aging the decals.

The washes/weathering will tone them down.....i often use the sponge method and apply some of the body colour over the decals just to give it the distressed look.......then i apply the washes/filters to tone the whole lot down, that`s just my way i use when blending in the new decs

We will see how it turns out.
