First real airbrush paint job, so please be gentle. Base coats going on, after priming.

Well done I'd say . I remember my first spraying attempts with Vallejo, they were a nightmare . But I didn't give up and now Vallejo are my first choice

Well done I'd say . I remember my first spraying attempts with Vallejo, they were a nightmare . But I didn't give up and now Vallejo are my first choice I did try them once and didn’t like the results so off to google to get all the tricks and tips about how to work with them. In the end I thought, naaa I’ll just use my trusty old Tamiya!

Someone pointed out the camouflage would have harder edges between the colours (thank you!), so I've touched it up a tad. V2 as below.

The finish looks super smooth which is something I couldn't do with AV so if this is your first then hats off to you my friend!
What colours have you used?

Thank you. Underside is RLM76, and the camo is RLM81 and 82. That's light blue underside, and light green/brown violet camo. I've found the AV paints need thinning some. These are model air and I'm using one part thinner to three parts paint. The model colour I'm thinning between 70 to 90% and using several thin coats in either case. Air pressure is low, between 12-15 psi.

I should also add I watched a lot of stuff on YouTube before trying to airbrush, and practised on paper getting the hang of it, before trying a model. It definitely helped 😉

Sensational work Dale! Yes, this looks better with the hard edge. However, if you put the grey splotches on the side, the airbrush is perfect for that!
