Nice find on the WH40K there. Out of interest I did have a look at the price of the total run of magazines and it’s actual fairly good value compared to if you just went out and bought the figures. That probably says more about GW prices than anything else!

Thanks jabbly. Truth be told, I am not really interested in war hammer so I will just get the first two or three as they are particularly cheap and just have fun doing them.

The Bodi figures are most excellent indeed. I know because I have actually painted a couple up

Thanks Paul. Might change the heads because I have some Hornet heads with utility caps left over.

Mail call . These are for the Dragonfly . I saw a picture with one carrying 4 of these nasty dart throwers . I want to try some pigment fixers that don't stink, so I got these two acrylic dudes to test And this is for a thread I shall start later in the year, I'll call it "The 17pdr"

Cool beans those rocket pods neighbour! The Achilles looks great too, but watch out when you cut the smallest parts from the sprues.

Guy I can say those pods really are cool, a lot better than the kit parts . The Achilles is an excellent kit, parts count is low and detail very good . As for smaller bits, well I think I know how to remedy that problem (TET)

Tommy, great array of figures. Paul, cool LAU-3s. Those are great nasties and I will be using them on my CIA Counter-Invader this year. I like that pigment binder. I am glad to see they are putting adhesives in these pigment binders so they actually stay in the model.

I have been remiss not posting these sooner. They did not cause a hole in the wallet being a generous gift from the excellent jabbly Many thanks kind sir! Royal mail took almost 7 weeks to deliver these about 150 miles. Little wonder they are struggling. These will be used when I make my Tamiya Panther kit, and I will enjoy the challenge of three colour camouflage.

Nice one Dale....and Jase! Must admit i have really taken to these ModelAir from Vallejo, i`ve always used Model color for brush painting and decided to give the ModelAir a go........never had any issues so far and that`s thru all 3 of my different sized AB`s
I find 2 drops of thinner (Vallejo) and 10 drops of paint works perfect for me......(my own personnal findings of course)

I do like Vallejo for brush painting and they are far better than Tamiya for that which to be honest isn’t saying a lot. For the AB I’ve tried the Model Air but although I don’t think there’s anything wrong with them as such I still prefer Tamiya. One of the nice things I like about them is once you get a few empty jars going you can then mix larger quantities and keep them for later. There’s also the advantage that you use a syringe for measuring the amount of paint instead of mucking about with all this drops malarkey!

If you really enjoy the challenge saw the Panther in half length ways as it’s slightly to large. The rather infamous Simon T (sadly no longer with us) did that over on Mil Mod!
