nito74 , be careful with that primer from Vallejo. It is a tad hot or aggresive and can damage the surface of the plastic. I only use that on armoured vehicles, resin figures, resin kits but never on aircraft. I used it once on my Kfir and the surface turned to a shark skin look.

Thank you Tommy! Thank you John! That does look good in red, but I have a few red subjects already so I'm looking to make this a different color. I don't like the pea green color on the box top either, I'm going to go with a more deep, forest green over the brown fenders instead. Testor's square bottle paints has a 'beret green' color that I love; that is most likely the color I will use. I hope I can get it smooth. I'm also looking forward to getting into that as well.

I think I have Mr.Surfacer and Tamyia Primer somewhere too, I'll try those on the Mig's. Thanks for the tip !
