Guy, Ian, Steve, Ian &, Pete. Cheers chaps. Much appreciated. I used the camouflage sheet to mark out the splinter scheme pattern. I extended the lines with a pencil, then wing placed the wing on top. The tape was placed along the line from one edge to the other to make the outline of the pattern. The rest was just back filled. The top sections are now ready for spraying with RLM 71. Doing it this way will keep masking to a minimum.

Paul, Ian, Tommy, Pete &, Bert. Thank you my kind fellow’s. You might have noticed, I marked the RLM 02 on the camouflage sheet. This is because I once masked it arse about face, only to discover the mistake when I removed the tape. 🤨 The RLM 71 has been sprayed. I’ll let this dry for a day or so before I carry on. In the meantime, I can paint some of the other bits and pieces.

Paul, Pete, John, Ian &, Ian. Muchly appreciated chaps. I’ve made a little progress today. I made a start on the prop, giving the hub a wash with black gouache. The lower wing and undercarriage bays are painted, as are the intake grills. The horizontal stabilisers have been given a going over with the gouache. Some parts still need a bit more attention, but I will wait for natural daylight before doing that.

As usual your unusual construction method and superb painting skills are making this another classic Joe build. I love it!
