Paul, Boots, Pete &, Steve. Cheers chaps.
I finished the seat harness. I impressed how strong the Quinta Studio 3D decals were. I found I could treadle them through the slot I made in the pilots seat quite easily, and bend them into shape. It was the same with the lap straps. The port side strap wouldnโt stay in place with the PVA glue, and kept springing back up without breaking. In the end, I used a tiny speck of Tacky Wax to hold it in place. This seems to work ok. Iโll post a picture when things get back to normal.

Thank you, Ian & Tommy. I've finished the cockpit. It looks a bit harsh in the pictures after magnification. I can see a couple of bits that need a little more attention.

Many thanks, Tommy, Ian, Steve &, Bert. I glued the two fuselage halves together, and after masking the cockpit and the underside, I gave the fuselage a coat of primer to cover the seam lines. Before I painted the fuselage, I scribed a panel line longitudinal along the seam to represent the joint in the panels on the 109 fuselage along the spine of the aircraft. When this has dried, I will go over it with RLM 65.

Excellent, Joe! Great job with replicating that spine seam. Best part of building a -109; we don't have to fill that one!!!!
