Marco! Great to see you back. What a great project and this looks awesome. Does this go over the fireplace? On the coffee table? Perhaps the garage? That bridge section must be huge.

Now that is bloody awesome!! Very nearly bought one last year myself but lack of display space stopped me in my tracks.

Thanks a lot guys! Ian, It's really huge, and I want to build the bridge in the middle of lift process. This way I'll can put the model in my showcase. But I'm thinking about a base, so, I'll have no enough space for that. BTW, here in São Paulo we don't fireplaces (don't need in truth). If I put it in a coffee table my wife probably will put me and the bridge in the garbage can Pete, now I'm thinking about buy the new German Iguana Brückenlegepanzer, based on Leo II chassis... Man that thing is bulkier than the M48 But, as you said, may be I won't have enough space to display the beast. So, it's better buy two smaller models

This is looking really good! GJ. The bridge can take a lot of weathering and the foot of the bridgelaying mechanism usually is "well used" as well.

Bert, thanks a lot mate!
Paul, thanks. I'm truly happy because my tracks and foot of the bridgelaying mechanism are looking like the ones on the pics you took.
