Thanks everyone, had to do with leftover bits and pieces, haven't got the real straps, but looks nice enough...

Bert, fantastic additions to your build! I think the modifications in that photo were the final round of add-ons the IDF put on the M-51s after the 1973 war, namely that huge storage bin on the rear hull. If I remember correctly, Academy's M-51 was the late model depiction and the Tamiya version, the earlier one.

Thanks everyone. In this screenshot you see the tank that was used in the ambush, the Germans placed a dead German soldier on top of the tank to make it look more convincing.. so I will have to try do do something similar..

In the film, I think he is placed half in the drivers hatch, the film industry mandatory dead tanker pose. In your hands Bert, I reckon this will also look awesome

Thanks all! And yes.. getting this figure to lie properly is a bit of work.. would have been easier if I hadn't closed that hatch..

I know i have popped the hatch out with a quick sharp tap from underneath before.........it was enough to break the glue seal and i just cleaned up any little marks which there wasn`t really............i`m not saying go ahead and do it tho , just saying from my own personal experience of doing the same thing

I did try.. even tried to really cut it open from underneath.. but no luck..

Not to worry about the hatch, Bert. Iām sure it will still look good.
