As I now have quite a few and there is some interest in these builds I have created a new thread. First up then is Kabuki Studios Anne Bonny 1/24 urethane figure.  From YouTube clips, figure painters recommend painting metal after a varnish. To that end here is the base.  I may do some washes to dull the gold down a bit, but then should I not give it a varnish first? Any suggestions please. |

Thanks Ian. Used the AK a blue paints for this. Maybe went a bit too blue but the fading has worked. As you can see the AB started spluttering as I was doing the lighter blue. Actually looks like faded denim, does it not?  |

I gave Anne Bonny a VMS satin finish and now opened the next box. This was a very pleasant surprise.  Very tidy. |
