Plan A was 1\48 Mosquito for 633 Squadron Plan B was 1\48 Spitfire Mk.1 for The Battle of Britain But bench time is in very short supply so opted for a quickie.. Plan C is a 1\72 Bf109E from the stash. It must have been there for a while as the price sticker says £5.99 After a fun few hours I'm here. Home made belts from Tamiya tape and the kit IP decal. Touch if filler needed on wing leading edges but all good so far.

Great choice, Steve! I probably should've picked something like this instead of the MH-60.

Nice one Steve, you can't beat a 109 in whatever scale . I bet this'll be done before my F4U is

Nice to see it Steve.
Don’t forget the title for the threads - the movie name.
Are you going for Battle of Britain? Or another movie?

Great choice, Steve. You’ve made a very good job with the seat harness.

Great choice, Steve! I probably should've picked something like this instead of the MH-60. I bet there's more parts in the tail rotor than this has in total

Nice to see it Steve. Don’t forget the title for the threads - the movie name. Are you going for Battle of Britain? Or another movie? Oops... Let's go for BoB Even though the '109s were Merlin powered Buchons from the Spanish AF

Camo time, all Tamiya home mix for a bit of scale effect. The pic makes it look lighter than it is to the eye but wash and weathering will bring it down a shade or two. The upper camo line looks a bit high to me but I followed the Airfix paint scheme so let's hope they did thier homework well.
