Top painting Is it the same black on the tyres? No mate it's a mix of vallejo black & 306 dark rubber. The model has now had a gloss coat and today some more detail painting & decals as well. These are OK although the registration plates are a bit on the large side and the german flag symbol is out of register. The number 3 on each hazard sign came from the spares box as this is evident in pictures of the real thing.      |

Thanks gents, not much done but I've added the last two hazard signs after spraying and glossing a suitable bit of plastic card then adding the decals. The signs where then cut out and added to the cargo sides. Same process for the yellow sign on the front cab with the addition of a mounting frame made from plastic strip. Next will be quite a few filters and washes I think and some oil work on the cargo bed.   |

That is excellent Pete and the 3 on the hazard signs is a great touch, if my memory serves me correctly i belive 3 was the fire fighting medium required to extinguish a fire.......i think 3 was a foam based medium for fuel fires.
