Paul will get a few gongs I'm sure Guy, as ever I won't be entering but will enjoy looking at the superb entries they always have. Never fear Mack I'll be taking plenty of pics for you all! I'm all ready for my 0530hrs departure from smudge towers to Brain's in the morning yahoo!
Hi there chaps, back home now after an absolutely stunning and very funny weekend , it was also great to meet up with Guy, Pete and Brian again All I ca say is if you have the chance to get there next year, then blurdy well do it .
This show has such a friendly atmosphere, it isn't over crowded and there certainly ain't any big headed tossers running around with little groups of younger followers .
The quality of builds on the comp tables and around the show is really top notch, I was surprised I got any gongs at all .
There is all you need on the grounds, food, beer(tea and coffee also), model dealers, good club stands (one crappy one), and very friendly people (apart from pi$$ taking Brits like Pete,Brian and I ) .
Here some pics for you, hope I haven't duplicated too much of what Pete has taken. I apologize the poor quality of some, I really need a new camera .
Here's a German armoured train to start with, this is about 15 foot long
Smashing pics Paul. As Paul's said it was a brilliant show this year, I had such a laugh and it was great to have a chat with Guy as well. Cheers for those figures Guy they will certainly come in handy. I've just done my show report on the blog so you can check it out and a certain Mr Badman doing a very good impression of a Cheshire cat whilst collecting one of his gongs!
