Thanks guys. Now the reason for the diorama; Lifecolor algae. Nearly finished the wagon, just the windshield to paint. Which brings me to the swamp gel. Self leveling my harris!!!!! Therefore something like this.

The pier looks fantastic as does the vehicle . The swampy water however looks very nerve testing.

Nice work indeed, that swampy water, was that just one layer or pour?

Blink and you miss it! You're not hanging around with it are you Tommy! The truck and pier looks great and I'm sure you'll get the water to work as well.

Nice work indeed, that swampy water, was that just one layer or pour? It’s a gel, snipersmudge, so one layer with a spatula. Had another go, but this time added VMS acrylic thinner. Will check the results in the morning.

Here is a test try. A mix of the gel and VMS acrylic thinner.

Thanks Ian. Here is the gel test. I will paint the styrofoam first which should solve the “white” spots.

oh wow, I like what I'm seeing here Tommy. Always good to see a model with a base, and since this is a semi-floaty it's exciting to see it in the water. Looking forward to see the finished result. It's going in the right direction anyway!

Thanks guys. Fixed in place, might try the swamp gel, later or tomorrow at the latest. Sealed the gaps with grit and putty and then painted khaki. The gel should not leak. Appointment with the surgeon tomorrow morning, so will find out the date for going under the knife then.
