Thank you, Paul and Tommy. I’ve gone for a 1/72nd wingy thing in one colour. Hopefully for a quicker build! I’m trying to catch up with something that I should have had done in 2021!

Cheers, Boots me old mucker. I made a start by cutting a few bits off the sprues and taping them together. I discovered I won’t be able to build this one in sections like I normally do. The fit is fine, it’s just the fact, that the bottom section wing must be fitted to the fuselage, then the top sections can be glued in place on top of the lower wing. A few bits have been glued together including, the wing tank, and the horizontal stabilisers. The intakes needed a little bit of fitting, but nothing serious and fit just fine now. I also gave some of the parts a lick of paint. The cockpit tub, wheel bays, and undercarriage doors got a coat of interior green. The top sections of the wings were given a coat of Glossy Sea Blue. I’ve used Mig Ammo Sea Blue. I’m in two minds if I like it or not.   |
