It was a post-war Cessna L-19 that was used in the movie. However, it was supposed to be an L-4 imposter.😂

Currently hopping along with the 'simplified' office, which I now regret I said that. Everything fits perfect but I had to leave the path in the instruction manual as two parts sat in the way of another part. I had to glue in the other first. Anyways I removed them and now it looks the way it should. I'll show the result when the cockpit is done.

Will it be difficult to see the instrument panel once finished?

There's a lot of transparent parts involved Tommy. The instruments panel is almost finished. I didn't follow the instructions which means I left aside the transparent sheet part. It's meant to be glued over the decal and to be finished with the pe part on top of it. Instead I directly superglued the beautiful pe part onto the decal which was previously coated with Gloss Clear. I then came up with the idea to use the super glue to create the instruments lenses, and I'm happy with it, it comes real close to an in depth glass effect. Tomorrow the radio finishing.

Excellent work, Guy! Far fewer instruments on this than the F-84.

Excellent work, Guy! Far fewer instruments on this than the F-84. You got that right Ian, it's a rather boring office instrument-wise. Currently I'm adding frames to the interior, and one side of the canopy was glued onto the fuselage. A lot of masking means slow progress and it's a must to keep calm when gluing the canopy together, the fit is perfect and there's no room for the slightest error or things will look crooked.

Ok disaster time!😖 The fuselage dropped off my bench on the floor, it disintegrated as the construction of the canopy was super fragile. I didn't like to start scraping off glue, paint and only maybe save the thing !!! After a frustrating slam on it and removing plastic out of my fist it was binned. No worries, mojo is still intact.😅
