Well can we see the last 5% then? In a word mate `erm.....NO!! , the last 5%ain`t been built yet It`s the tiny wiring harness which runs to 26 different connecting points on the whole bike.............first off i gotta make it, secondly i gotta fit it..........certainly not a weekend job mate , need to be in the right frame of mind for that task , maybe when my new diopter/magnifier gets opened at xmas i might give it a go in finishing it off

Fanx Jeffster I`m glad i decided on a splash of colour here and there to break up the monotone winch and cab.......the back has stayed nice and dark/dirty but not overkill.....the cab i wanted the opposite, the White is very common on these and the levers...well....lets just say a bit of artistic licence (not my idea btw...seen it done on a ref build but in a different colour formation)......glad i bothered doing the extinguishers as well

One of the most impressive kits built and finished in a great way, I like the weathering of this dusty and dirty dragon !

Cheers Pete and give it a whirl fella , just DON`T go to heavy and start underneath..........that way you can gauge how light/heavy you want it up the sides, if ya go a tad to heavy at least it`s outta sight .....the tyres are Flat Earth over a layer of Flat Flesh, the Earth has been applied over the top of the flesh on the cab as well but higher up and minimal.........AK Rust/Track wash/Dark Brown washes did the rest Right........one more job to do and we`re done, no point putting up pics yet. Remaining job.........the 5th wheel and mount, the mount has been weathered and the 5th wheel/trailer coupling have received a coat of Pz Aces Dark Rust (it dries a really nice colour on OD and i`ve used it loads on here for weathering......i put a small amount of paint next to a small drop of water and just turn it into a wash, it`s non smelly and works a charm).......next up comes the tricky bit, i wanna replicate some light grease just to give it a working look/sheen etc but i`m trying to work out how i`m gonna go about it............i have a few ideas bouncing around so we`ll see what happens

For grease mate if you have no mig or similar oil or fuel stains try a dab of vaseline and black or dark grey oil. just warm the vaseline up first to get it runny. A tiny dab should get the shiny effect you are looking for.

Cheers Pete...... I did have Oils as the lead starter of me ideas, i got some Windsor and Newton Raw Umber i was going to go with the splodge it on idea and i also thought about using a very small amount of Plastic putty.......that way when it is just going off i can stipple it, it`ll also dry hard unlike the oils, then i can colour it and gloss it...........just a thought......of a few
