Tamiya M3 Scout car - 29-07 finished..

My dear neighbour I wish you luck with this kit, the machine gun rail of my kit was warped. I hope you can tackle it and I know you can.

Bert, I see you are going to joust with the Zvezda version. Now we get to find out how spoiled we get with these Tamiya beauties.

Based on some pictures I want to try do something like this... 





First making an mock up from cardboard to see how this goes...

So after the cardboard version I made a version out of plasticcard to see how that would look...







Hmmmmm...  no texture.. not what I want so I noticed I still had a lot of armoured side and rear plates left of those Dragon M3 halftracks....
They look better, with rivets.. bit of texture, so I cut them up and started messing about with them. 



Yep, I like that better.. now let's see about adding some more stuff to the front.. a machinegun.. 





It needs a little turret on top, let's try that.. 





And now let's see what it looks like with everything together.. 










Not perfect, but moving towards what I want..
