Oky dokes.......a bit more for yas, Made up all the axles and have started attaching some of them on the rather crude leaf style springs..........no biggie....i`ll tidy `em up slap some weathering on `em and bobs ya uncle, at the end of the day no-ones gonna see them under the trailer anyway !! The front non steering axles where made up from 19 parts each (x2) and the steering ones were 24 parts (x4).........also the 12 springs are in 2 parts each......a few more bits of structural stuff has been added and i`ve made a start on running some brake lines (early stages), i dropped a rather large b*****k at this point coz i shoulda drilled the deck support holes before attaching to trailer....schoolboy error!! , however...i just cut individual lengths and glued them in place.......i made them a bit of a snug fit so`s it added a bit of natural flex to them rather then one solid straight line.......more rubbery looking once painted I`ve set the 2 end axles in place and one in the middle and left under a bit of pressure overnight......that way i know everything will settle down flat with no rock corner to corner.... It`s taking a little time but it seems like i have to make 24 of everything This kit isn`t up to Trump`s new standard for sure being as it was first out in 2002.........the detail on it is quite simple but at the end of the day the effect of a good kit is there........plenty of answers to resolve that tho , it looks a bit messy and some more clean up is needed, the problem is....being a dark sprue colour all the connection points turn white when cleaned up........it looks worse than it is in the pics.............but primer`s ya best buddy Oh.......and i accidentally went into the LHS by mistake!! A small supply run... Feck me this stuff is getting expensive now........that little lot cost me an arm and a leg

Missed the start. It's a biggy for sure, I've looked at the kit so many times but never bought it despite it being pretty reasonable for the sheer quantity of styrene you get.

Holy mackerell, this seems to be something titanic! Nice start mate. Just tell me, what's the size of this thing when finished? I reckon it's even larger than my 1/350 Yamato!
Cheers

Right so Google to the rescue: That's a bit under 60 cm then...quite big, but smaller than Yamato, it seems even bigger on the photos! Like Guy said: Boots the Brave is henceforth your new name Cheers
