I would say the Corsair can be considered a Classic, so I am going with the big AU-1 in French Navy markings. These were probably some of the most weather-beaten aircraft in aviation history so this will be a fun one.

A true classic, Ian. I saw one of these in French markings years ago at the Greenham Common International Air Tattoo.

Didn't know the French had these Yes, France flew the F4U-7, which had the chin scoop on the bottom of the cowling and also the AU-1, which had the two scoops on the side of the cowling, which were faired over. Both versions were veterans of Indochina, Algeria and the Suez.
