Good evening, As mentioned before this is my entry to this group build.
A re-box of a Hasegawa offering I believe. The fuselage halves come in 2 pieces. Cockpit backwards and the engine bay forwards. Decided to join these and create the 2 fuselage sides. Then, after a test fit, decided to add the upper wing surfaces to each side and eliminate the wing root fix problems at stage 1.
Then moved on to the office construction.
And the detailing of the fuselage interior cockpit walls.
Stage 1 complete and dry fit good at this stage, hope that this is a good omen.
ACW and more soon.
Tim

Welcome Paul & Steve, nice to have you along. As ever "office" first so some initial colour applied.
Along with the instrument panel.
More work required before I can button up the fuselage, including the harness set.
More soon, ACW as ever. Tim

Cockpit looks awesome, Tim! And yes, this definitely looks like the Hasegawa Hurri castings.

Well the harnesses look amazing, even if your patience-meter and bank account do not agree.

Beautiful detail paintjob, for example the canvas pouches, these things make the difference.

As the title suggests, underside has been coloured.
Very pleased with the results. Hope to get the RAF Dark Earth on in the next couple of day's, more soon as. Tim

Thanks bwilt and Pete, glad you approve. Got the chance to slap a bit more colour on. Happy with the outcome despite a couple of tidy up's being necessary. Nothing to troublesome thankfully. So here she is, looking like some sort of mint chocolate confectionary at present. Next up some RAF Dark Green and a first use of a set of camouflage masks. Does the same process apply to spray with base colour to seal, then apply the green? More soon. Tim

Again that is a nice colour Tim . And to answer the question, yes always give the masking edges another coat of the base colour, or even a matt coat would work
