Personally I wouldn’t worry that the figures aren’t top notch as they the are just ‘visual flavour’ and the star of the show is the aircraft and an absolutely top notch aircraft it is.

Thank you Jase, and yes I like your vision.😄👍 Everything was airbrushed this afternoon. Started with a mixture of Olive drab and Gloss Clear. I then applied a lighter shade from above by adding Matt Flesh and just a little white. I finished with two thin coats of Gloss Clear. The canvas seat covers are next, as are the decals, tyres. ![](https://i.ibb.co/Km8kvrQ/IMG-20230908-164235.jpg)

I got that perspective from the now defunct Mil Mod forum. It was a dio. of a British armoured car with lots going on around it. The builder, I can’t remember who, showed a close up of the commander figure to say not brilliant but it will do. Let’s just say not great with googly eyes and all but did it really detract from the whole thing. I can’t really say that it did. Yes it would be a problem in a competition, well unless you one of the judges and mates with the other judges. On Track, *cough* On Track … how did that get there without leaving any tyre marks. Oh you came first in category like you do every year.

Years ago I lost a Best of Show to a very famous modeller who happened to have given a workshop for the organizing club the very day before. The jury came up with the explanation that they found a spot on the chassis of my model which missed a little moss.😂🤣😂🤣 At the same time I won the award of Best weathered Model can you believe that lol!🤣😂🤣😂

I do like seeing all the competition entries but the actual results, well not so sure about that. The idea that the judges don’t know who certain models have been entered by, well I’m not buying that. The idea that a judge can themselves enter their own model, what’s that all about. Anyway enough of my gripes and let’s get back to you most interesting build. I’ve got a feeling this is going to be a cracker!

I must say the same, this for a 1/48 scale fits really good and it's nicely detailed also.

Thank you as always chaps! The support means a lot to me, especially with the tropical hot days, I just want to drink and drink... The mixture for the base texture was dry within 30 minutes! Ok, back to Mr Willys...the canvas of the seats was handpainted and they are already glued into the interior. Another coat of Clear Gloss is next. ![](https://i.ibb.co/XYdRGNb/IMG-20230909-144708.jpg)
