Robbo, that is an incredible looking Mossie! So, sometimes those white spot anomalies show up due to reactions from either wash solutions, decal solutions, water applications or various other things. I have found that the Matte Coat application makes them disappear. Another alternative, is to clean the area with any kind of decal surface prep fluid like, Micro Set in the blue bottle. (just the surface prep fluid---not the softener or solvent). Just wash the area gently with some Micro Set in a cotton swab. Sometimes the carrier material of the actual decal can react slightly with other things going on the model, which can cause this. But usually it disappears after the Matte Coat.

Right Mr H Micro set done the job, no more white marks, great tip i'll remember that one.
I'll let that evaporate fully then I'll give it a flat coat

Glad it worked out, Robbo! Usually those blemishes disappear. They look much more intimidating than they really are.

It’s been a struggle getting this over the finish line but I’m glad to say I made it. I’ll get some photos tonight or during the day tomorrow
