Grand fiddly little constructionism there John Thanks Paul !
Still a lot to be done on both tanks. I want to balance my work between both kits, my goal is to finish them at the same time, so I will do the painting and weathering at the same time. Simply because I want to start the Ausf.C 's at the same time and do a detailed side by side comparison build of that version.
But as you can imagine... a lot of work to be done.
HobbyBoss Panzer IV Ausf.B , working on one side of the suspension first.
Dragon Panzer IV Ausf.A , I added the tool box, but now there's some PE work ahead that will slow me down for sure... Also 2 types of tires provided. I added some parts to the bottom of the tank, I also gave a last coat of paint on the wheels
That's it for today !

Hobby Boss are crazy, there is no need to split the turret up like that

Hobby Boss are crazy, there is no need to split the turret up like that This time I blame it on Tristar, since they are Tristar's sprues. But yes, I agree, no need to split it like this... perhaps they were planning on doing later versions before going bust.
I think they did only 3 versions, Ausf.B, Ausf.C and Ausf.D and a Ausd.D Tauchpanzer.
I still have a C version from Tristar to do, I'll check if they do the same crazy process ( these brands should ALWAYS see how Tamyia does things... )

Thanks Jeff !!!
Thanks Ian !!!
I'm trying to work a little on both since I want to get them finished at the same time because the next ones Ausf.C's, I want to build those two (Tristar & Dragon) side by side, showing the main differences on both kits.
So today, I only worked on the Ausf.A , this one has the hull almost done, still missing all the tools and the PE that comes with it. Turret is painted and got the decals already. I worked on the wheels and started cleaning up the tires. Some wheels need a touch of paint, and also painting all the tires.
So... well a lot to be done here, I'm not even half way there..
