Not much today guys, I'm still figuring out how I have to apply the acrylics. The stowage is ideal for experimenting. I did one roll which was given a matt clear coat. A dark wash will be next to be applied.

Thank you Boots,Paul,Ian and Jeff, always happy when you approve the progress. It's going to be a stowage story for the following days, I hope I won't bore you. I finished a musette bag which I gave a sling, and another roll tied together with rope. These were glued in, there's a lot more stuff to be added.

Thanks Paul and Boots -bros. I added another roll and two .50 cal ammo boxes which I strapped together (I used lead foil). The roll will be finished tomorrow, the ropes too. The photo was taken with artificial light btw.

I do metal detecting as well but not been for ages............getting permission to go on someones land is the biggest problem, i`ve got loads of fields all around me but no-one will let me on, i normally rely on the planned digs but they can have up to a 100 people invlved which kinda kills the enthusiasm some what coz chances are people have already detected over the areas you want to do

For this afternoon we scored a freepass from the owner. The field is next to a road where the Canadian Fort Garry Horse armoured regt. was waiting for the command to move on to Woensdrecht. Even if we don't find traces of them we'll be having fun and beerπ₯³πΊ Just across the Belgian/Dutch border... ONLY for reference purposes.
