No brotha Paul, it's Steel from Vallejo mixed with a little brown to push its blue shade back and also to give the metal a bit of greasiness.
I quit using the Humbrol metal colours to be honest, however they were my favourite metal colours (polishing them was so much fun).š„³

Thanks Bert my northern neighbour! With the dark wash on the turret completely dry it was time for the enjoyable oil dot method. The small dots added onto a wet section (I used white spirit). Colours used : -emerald green -white -yellow ocre -ultramarine blue The dots were then worked with this brush, perfect for this purpose. It's a nĀ°2 Abteilung brush. The subtle but imo effective result.

Before I finish the oil dot method on the remaining parts of the hull I've decided to work a little on the gun mantlet cover tomorrow. I want to push back its glossiness. I'll finish the tools too.
