Hot damn it Guy What's next, curtains, bird cage and a cat for the windows? And I bet he will do something incredible with those items.... probably will be knitting a table cloth or something like that...

I'm afraid your expectations are too highπ. I reworked the gutter because it didn't match sufficiently with the style of the house. Now it has a decorative mitered plank finish. Inside it looks like sink panel.

Thank Jeff and Boots. I rounded the gutter plank with a stuffing of Magic Sculp and I then pulled the round back of a Proxxon tool bit over it. Now it has a nicer profile.

Thanks chaps. I worked on the gutter and now I call it a day. I went for the hairspray method as I was aiming for an old, worn gutter with paint peeling off and rotting spots. My Tamiya matt white cluttered when thinned with water which I never had before, strange !π€ So Tamiya was a no go and Vallejo appeared to be the way out of this issue. To be sure the paint would come off I applied a firm coat of Vallejo chipping fluid followed by a Vallejo Air White. The next hour or two I picked and rubbed the white surface (softened by gently brushing on a little water). Once all this was dry I airbrushed on two coats of Tamiya Gloss Clear. After another drying time I applied the washes, AK, Mig Ammo and home made oil washes. The whole house will be brought in this condition as during the war the Italian population had things to be worried of other than a nicely maintained facade.
