Lovely work, though if this was British army they would all be up on a charge for not shaving!!
By the way, have you or anyone else used AM resin hands? Seen some in a second hand shop I may buy.

Jeff and Tommy, thanks guys. I haven't used am hands, they look very good and 100% better than the hands of standard figure sets. Usually I buy Alpine figures but they make holes in the wallet.😞

Boots and Steve, I ferked up the map reading figure while I was gluing on a cigar. Without noticing a blob of blue paint got on my fingers and sadly I ended up with a map reading smurf😄 Unlucky but lucky as well as I still have the beautiful Tamiya figure that comes with the kit and it appears to fit the scene so no man overboard.😚

I made a start (nothing more) with the Tamiya figure that comes with the kit. I kept the pose as it is but I gave it a caracterful head from the spare box. Don't mind the gloves, the helmet and the boots, these are tomorrows targets. He's one tough looking bloke isn't it? He's a tad larger (2mm) compared with the other figures.

Difference in height is often overlooked in our hobby so the 2mm will add a nice touch of variation to the team I reckon.

Tomorrow this figure will be finished. What's left to do : helmet , gloves and boots details, division patch decal. Tamiya did a tremendous job on it, sharp details and smooth surfaces make the paintwork a lot easier. I'm glad with Nick Nolte in the crew.😄

What a quite day today on MHO. I have not much to post either but hey it's something. I'm still working on the third of five figures and only very slowly I'm getting there. It needs a little more seasoning.😄 Btw the camera seems to have forgotten the medium shades of the clothing, odd.
